“ Positief: vriendelijk,goede service en heel netjes! Kleinschalig eenvoudig hotel Negatief: het eten was ALTIJD koud! Restaurant erg ongezellig je hebt het gevoel dat je in een kantine zit,andere belichting zou al veel schelen,daarom dat ik buiten gegeten heb op het terras Maar vergeleken met andere hotels is deze zeker geen 5 sterren! Maar in het algemeen een heel leuke vakantie gehad ! Absoluut “

“ Hotel op zich was qua accommodatie goed, ligging mooi aan zee. Eten en drinken was echter ondermaats. Koude gerechten (salade bar was redelijk tot goed) maar drinken was allemaal aangemaakte ranja met veel kleurstof. Warme gerechten ondermaats, standaard gerechten en geen kwaliteit. Eetzaal was ook net een ziekenhuis, miste elke vorm van gezelligheid. Tijdens het eten sprak de bediening ook slecht Engels waardoor we vaak verkeerd drinken kregen. Rest van het personeel wel heel aardig en hygiene was prima in het hotel. Wifi was niet overal beschikbaar, zeker niet bij ons op de kamer. Zou een 5 sterren hotel zijn maar dat halen ze bij lange na niet. “

“ We spent 10 days in white olive hotel and we noticed a few things that could improve: the hotel is far from the old town of rethymno (city centre) - there is no transfer from hotel to old town (a five star hotel should organise that for its customers) so every time we needed to pay a taxi 20€ (going) and 20€ return which makes a lot of money at the end. The bus stop you need to walk and one time we wanted to take it and it never came. Also the food of the hotel can be better - often unlabelled food or not traditional food of Greece so you just eat some food but you never really taste the Greek food in the hotel. The choice of food and especially hot dishes is limited. Desserts were ok. Also our room was considered as a « suite » but there was no real door separating our rooms so it was like the same room with a small thing separating the two rooms but I didn’t consider the room as a suite. However, The sea view was incredible and is worth it. Also, you need to pay for sauna and there is not indoor swimming pool or spa. There was also a woman that we asked for a massage and for me she wasn’t a specialist. She was yawning the whole time she was making me a massage and didn’t even press the right points which need to be pressed in acupressure in Thai massage. She wasn’t an expert in that. And my mother had the same opinion. In general, the hotel is beautiful and you have a nice outdoor swimming pool and beautiful view. You also have very kind people working in the hotel which are helpful and very positive. So in general it was a nice experience and we had a good time there but it’s not a 5-star hotel. Max 3 stars as of the different points lacking and previously explained. Thank you for the Greek hospitality. It means for us ! “
