“ Hallo, Hereby i want to make a review about our 10 days holidays in the Silver Beach Hotel in Trou d’eau douce Mauritius. I will share this review with the travel agency (D-reizen.nl), with the hotel website as well as on google maps and tripadvisor. We travelled with 3 persons, man and wife our daughter in one room at the hotel. About the travel agency (D-reizen.nl): - I found D-reizen.nl and the trip to Mauritius when I was looking via google search; - I made the booking online without communications with the agency – everything was clearly specified to do so; - D-reizen contacted me to create a personal login on their website to retrieve more info about the trip, to find invoice and digital tickets etc; - Even about crutches (confirmed to be allowed as cabin baggage) D-reizen made the effort to inform me ; About the flights (Turkish airlines): - Turkish airlines – for me – was known for it’s excellent service – and they met this standard completely; - Polite, nice, friendly staff welcomed us at the airport in Düsseldorf as well in Istanbul during the stop and in Mauritius; - Good dinners and nice breakfasts were served in the airplane, cooled or hot drinks; - Everyone got a nice travel kit with tooth brush, slippers, eye patch etc; - The planes came with individual displays for movies, music, games, flight info etc; About the transfer to hotel and back: - At the arrival a co-worker was waiting for us to guide uw through the airport towards our transfer car to go to the hotel; - Afterwards it seemed to have gone so smoothly and quickly that we missed the opportunity to change our EURO into RUPIES at a very good rate in the airport; - Our transfer car was planned for us privately with a nice gentle and polite driver to bring us from the airport to our hotel; About the hotel: - Before the trip I mailed the hotel about one person using crutches and asked for a ground floor hotel room; - Within 12hrs I got a very polite reply that it was noted and will be prepared for us – no problem ;-) - The hotel at arrival seems small but very nice and clean; - VERY polite staff members welcome us and help us with the luggage; - We get a nice cocktail for welcoming us and to rest 10 minutes while they prepare our luggage to be transported to our room; - We also get some information about excursions, taxi ordering and about breakfast, lunch and dinner timings; About the room for 3 persons: - The room is very nice, clean, well prepared for 3 persons at ground floor ; - We had a badge entry room with a very large 2-persons bed with space enough to get in and out of bed; - An extra bed was places in the corner of the room, next to the double bed, again with space enough to get in and out of bed; - We had a 3-persons couch to sit and rest in, as well as a large commode with TV on top and refrigerator inside ; - There was a 3-door closet for storing clothes; - There was a safe inside the room, able to be coded for closing; About the bath room: - At first sight you might think it’s a little bit outdated but ; - You have a nice clean toilet; - A big shower with curtain ; - A good shower head for washing and flushing your hair and body; - Soaps are available; - Shower gels are available; - Everyday two towels are renewed for every person in the room; - Great mirror to see yourself rise and shine every morning; “
“ Niet al te groot hotel waardoor je meer binding hebt met het personeel. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en proberen ook een praatje met je te maken. Zeer mooi wit zandstrand met ligbedjes, tafeltje en parasol. Ook het eten was heerlijk. Ontbijt en lunch was vaak wel in hetzelfde thema, maar diner was wat meer gevarieerd. “
